Plein air painting of the bridge to the Davison Trail at Elk Meadow. Painted alla prima during the Humboldt Open Paint Out. I was drawn to the mossy railing, dark trail beyond the bridge, and slight orange glow from the smoke. Awarded Honorable Mention.
